A Loading Dock Management Plan shall be prepared to manage deliveries at the alley and shall be reviewed and is subject to approval by the SDCI Transportation Planner and the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT). The objective of the dock management plan shall be to manage deliveries so that vehicles are not waiting in the alley to access the loading berth. The plan shall include but not be limited to the following items:
• The management plan shall coordinate deliveries between the hotel and other tenants and their vendors.
• Vendors shall be provided performance specifications, including the Loading Dock Management Plan and the 30-minute limit on parking and loading in the alley.
• A loading dock manager shall be responsible for administering and managing compliance of vendors with the performance specifications.
• The hours of operation of the loading dock shall be limited to hours outside of noon to 6:00 PM.
• The hours of operation shall be posted near the loading dock door.
• Trucks shall be directed to enter the alley from Pike Street and exit from Union Street.
• Site tenants shall notify suppliers and other making deliveries of the maximum truck size that can be accommodated within the loading bay.
• Signs shall be posted near the loading dock door on the size of vehicles accommodated within the loading bay.
• Vehicles using the loading dock shall be accommodated fully within the loading bay.
• Delivery trucks shall not be allowed to idle in the alley; signs shall be posted alerting drivers to this restriction.
