OTHER - SEATTLE CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC AMENDMENTS
Project Description:
On December 5, 2018, the Seattle City Council will hold a public hearing on two proposed amendments to Seattle 2035, the Comprehensive Plan. Those amendments would:
• Modify goal LU G6 addressing objectives of policies on off-street parking. Added language clarifies that the objective of reducing construction costs related to provision of off-street parking specifically is intended to support housing affordability.
• Modify Future Land Use Map to remove 4.7 acres, currently owned by Seattle Pacific University and adjacent to the SPU campus, from the Ballard-Interbay Northend Manufacturing/Industrial Center, with a resulting land use designation of Industrial Areas.
PUBLIC HEARING
The City Council’s Planning, Land Use and Zoning Committee will hold a public hearing on the Ordinance during their meeting on Wednesday, December 5, beginning at 9:30 AM.
The hearing will be held in the:

2nd floor, Seattle City Hall
600 Fourth Avenue
